Type: Single Malt
Alcohol: 46% alc/vol
A much-anticipated release, which has been produced using barley grown in the Cotswolds, distilled in their Forsyths copper pot stills (Mary & Janis) and aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and red wine casks.
Nose: Honey and butterscotch layered with light peach and apricot fruits, and a hint of marzipan.
Palate: Tannin-rich malt, oils and dark sugar upfront followed by fresh spice and caramelised Seville orange marmalade.
Finish: Long and resinous, with dark red fruits and a hint of treacle.
