This particular expression has been dubbed The Bodega, and after it was distilled at Lochranza the whisky has been matured for seven years in first-fill sherry hogsheads.
Nose: Orange chocolate, with Christmas spices, lots of dried fruit and toasty oak and sherried goodness.
Palate: Juicy sherry influence, with chocolate-dipped marachino cherries, raisins and a touch of dark caramel.
Finish: Long and spicy.
