In what will be seen as a positive move to whisky connoisseurs, Bunnahabhain have decided to bottle the 25 year old without chill-filtration and without colouring.
The barley sings, coated with orange citrus, a hint of liquorice, orange, vanilla, marmalade and the tannins of Spanish oak mixed with charred wood on the nose. Sweetly smooth and so mellow on the palate with citrus-soaked cereal, Seville marmalade and salty, toasted oak on the finish.
