Launched in 2005, this reposado is 100% blue agave, aged for a period of 2 months in American oak barrels and produced in the traditional way; hand-harvested agave, roasted in brick ovens for 3 days and then crushed using a horse-driven tahona. Nose: Roasted pears, vanilla, toast, and citrus zest. Cinnamon, oak char, bananas and warm cream follow. Palate: Notes of fresh cream, pineapple, sage and black pepper. Moderately tannic, medium bodied, fresh and lush with tons of agave sweetness.
