Originally planned to be release as a 12-year-old but was matured an extra year in honour of rugby great Brian O’Driscoll, a company shareholder. O’Driscoll wore the No.13 jersey for the Ireland National rugby team. Aged full term in first-fill ex-bourbon casks.
Nose: Notes of thick vanilla pod, citrus peels and cinnamon.
Palate: Toffee pennies, dark chocolate, a touch of warming oak and a subtle fruity note as it develops.
Finish: Spicier on the finish.
