An impressive first release of single malt Irish whiskey from the recently formed Glendalough Distillery (est. 2011). Aged for at least seven years in first-fill bourbon barrels. Nose: Tangerine segments, old oak and vanilla fudge. Palate: Burnt sugar, cinnamon toast and ripe orchard fruits. Finish: Warming notes of cinnamon continue.
