The distillery that keeps on delivering. The Glenlivet 21 year old was a gold medalist winner at the 2005, 2006 and 2007 International Wine & Spirit Competition, the 2002 International Spirits Challenge and a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
This is a well-rounded 21 year old from Glenlivet and truly is a wonderful example of what a sherried style whisky should be like.
Nose: Full and rich, with notes of sandalwood, pine and resin. Potpourri, barley sugar and cereal notes with honey.
Palate: rich, with notes of oily walnuts and fruit cake with spice and golden syrup. The finish is long and sweet with soft chewy oak.
