Tasting notes:
Nose: Very peaty, with hints of sea-salt, iodine and seaweed.
Palate: The dryness is at first offset by the sweetness of the sherry character – sweet, fresh, then very smoky.
The finish has been described as ‘a huge, powerful, bear-hug of peat’.
