Monks gins are handcrafted and double-distilled in small batches using a hybrid artisanal still. Expect intensely flavour-forward botanicals, nine of them hand-picked and many endemic to the area. Combine with crystal-clear mountain waters and the result is a rewarding one, featuring ripples of citrus, berries and Cape Buchu.
Mary Jane is the first South African gin to be infused with hemp, widely accepted as a miracle plant. Awarded ‘Best South African Contemporary Gin in the World Gin Awards 2019′.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Citrus dominates followed by star anise and cardamom.
Palate: Extremely citrus driven. Renosterbos and Slangbos adds a full bodied botanical flavour profile.
Finish: Short and floral.
