It’s a highly phenolic, single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery, matured in Oloroso sherry casks, combining briny peat and dark fruits in abundance.
Nose: Seaweed and a hint of medicinal peat smoke, prunes and cloves.
Palate: Smoking embers, stem ginger, sherried dark fruits, sea salt.
chilli flake and caramelised treacle on the finish, with a lingering medicinal TCP note on the aftertaste.
