Compass Box’s mouth-watering Spice Tree was fittingly felonius, according to SWA regulations! After adjusting its naughty creation, Spice Tree was re-released, and better than before. It’s a blended malt made from Highland malt whiskies, matured in specially made casks with new French oak heads.
In April 2015, it was named Best Blended Malt Scotch at the annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Tasting notes:
Suprising oloroso note, honeycomb and French wood in the depths, Seville marmalade. More complex than the previous bottling. Once again a backbone of barley along with cinnamon, cardamom and pepper. Wow! Fireworks of flavour on a silky smooth palate, sweet berried fruit, sherry and ginger with charred oak and pepper on the finish.
