Each linked closely together by a skilfully woven malty tapestry, the three stages in the tasting of this incredible Benrinnes are nonetheless entities in their own right. The nose’s intensely floral character and the palate’s abundantly fruity temperament precede a wonderfully chocolaty, roasted and spicy finish that also reveals an impressively mature and fresh.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Elegant, ethereal. The truly outstanding first nose brings notes of
marmalade, rose petal, purple lilac and very ripe mango. Allowed to breathe, it becomes spicy (pepper, clove), camphoric and even
more floral (freesia, hyacinth, lime blossom). Gradually, candy sugar
and a fine layer of caramel cover the surface of the aroma palette.
Apricot and quince jelly arrive in the finale.
Palate: Distinguished, full of energy. Beginning exactly where the nose left
off, the attack also allows a glimpse of the beautifully clear and fruity spirit (pear, kirsch). On the mid-palate, frangipane, cocoa and tobacco spread harmoniously across the sides of the palate. At the end of the palate, red fruits (raspberry, strawberry) and dark chocolate rival each other in intensity.
