An extraordinary award-winning gin, made using the traditional method of cold compounding (or infusing). Very high quality copper pot-still spirit is infused with ingredients including juniper, orange peel, coriander, cassia, cloves and cardamom, with the length of the compounding period controlled entirely by periodic sampling, and bottled at 43.3% ABV. Citrus and juniper on the nose, smooth and earthy on the palate. Each bottle is wrapped entirely by hand using paper, twine and wax.
Nose: Juniper rich bouquet, notes of cardamom, orange blossom, cinnamon.
Palate: The focus point is juniper, but the earthier botanicals make themselves known on the initial palate too.
Finish: The juniper subsides and gives way to cardamom, cinnamon and orange peel.
