The distillery, with its worm tub condensors, is known for its meaty character, and the 13-year-old is sweetly meaty, fruity, spicy and slightly smoky.
Nose: Pineapple, over-ripe banana, toffee coated Granny Smith apples, sweet red papaya, tropical fruit salad.
Palate: Full-bodied, chewable, a malted savoury whisky sandwich! Toffee apple, dried chilli, pepper spice.
Finish: Dark caramelised toffee.
