Dalwhinnie 15 is a great introductory whisky for all single malt newbies. The expression is light, and easy drinking. The distillery is situated in the highlands of Scotland, and makes use of a wormtub condenser in their production process. This ultimately gives the spirit a more oily, chewy texture and will result in a more earthy, meatier type of spirit, due to minimal exposure to copper.

Tasting notes:
Summer blossom sweet, with a few crushed vanilla pods dotted around the meadow, the honey drenched barley sprinkled over a slice of lemon meringue. Teasingly sweet on the palate, with the citrus and vanilla combining perfectly, light and fluffy on the mid palate with a short, dry oaky finish.
