Glen Scotia Double Cask is matured in first fill bourbon barrels before being finished for up to twelve months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. This provides the perfect balance of rich spicy fruits, overlaid with the characteristic sea spray and vanilla oak finish for which Glen Scotia is famous.

Tasting notes:
Nose: A fruit stew-freshly cut peach and apricot, cranberries, raisins & prune juice. With time, smoky tendrils of peat coat the cinnamon sprinkled barley.

Palate: Dark toffee, fudge & sweet sherry assail the tip of the tongue, allowing a light chili dusting of rumtopf to spread across the mid palate.
Powerful and lingering on the finish with black liquorice & sweet sherried toasted oak.
