The Glenmorangie is focussed on wood management, therefore each and every expression in the core range is finished off in a different type of oak cask to ensure great complexity between the different expressions. The focal point of Glenmorangie Lasanta is the rich and sherried style – matured in white oak from a Tennessee whiskey distillery and finished off in Oloroso and Pedro Xeminez sherry casks. This expression is the nectar of the Gods.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and smooth caramel toffee. Citrus, creme brulee, rum and raisin ice cream.
Palate: Spanish sherry with sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and butter toffee. Hazelnut, spice notes and hints of leather.
Finish: Satisfyingly long with spiced orange and chocolate enrobed hazelnuts.
