The Nectar is made by finishing Glenmorangie single malt in casks used to age some of the world’s great sweet wines. These include Sauternes and Monbazillac from France, Moscatel from Spain and Tokaji from Hungary. A fitting successor to the discontinued Nectar D’or and an excellent after-dinner dram.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Decadent with notes of baking brioche, baked apricot, vanilla pudding, toasted almond, and hints of chocolate truffles.
Palate: Rich and sticky with swirls of honeycomb, orange syrup, and brioche, balanced by a soft drumbeat of spice and lemon zestiness.
The finish is long and lingering, with some lemon rind, baking bread, and a touch of honeycomb
