While typical peated whiskies are distilled in pot stills and classified as Single Malts, Grainstorm is produced using 100% heavily peated malted barley distilled in a Coffey (column) still. This method creates a lighter, smoother texture where the smoke is integrated as a “soft drift” rather than an intense bonfire punch.
