Macallan 12yo Double Cask Single Malt is aged in American and European sherry oak.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Reminiscent of the much loved original 12yo sherry oak, this has similar elements of rich sherry, Matabele ant(formic acid), floor polish, Seville orange marmalade, raisins and dried peach and apricot.
Palate: Vanilla, then the dry Oloroso sherry kicks in, soaking the ginger root giving a long lingering dark fruit finish of raisins, dates and stewed prunes.
A classic Macallan.
