Milk and Honey Classic single malt whisky is an excellent single malt from Israel’s first malt whisky distillery. With the help of the late master distiller Jim Swan, M & H Distillery have managed to produce a range of outstanding whiskies. Based in Tel Aviv, the distillery has to contend with a much warmer climate than most whisky-producing regions, and this is where Jim Swan’s expertise came in handy. He specialised in producing whisky in warmer climes, and malts such as Kavalan in Taiwan and Amrut in Taiwan are testament to his expertise. It should come as no surprise then that Milk and Honey single malt is well worth trying.

This peated expression is matured in ex-bourbon and ex-Islay whisky casks in the hot and humid conditions of Tel Aviv. Bottled at 46%, it is non-chillfiltered and no colour is added.

Although many single malt whiskies can be considered kosher, Milk & Honey Classic is certified kosher on the label.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Fresh, with a distinct smoky and earthy scent, opening to vanilla and oak, with a hint of lemon.
Palate: Medium bodied, sweet vanilla balanced with a hint of peat, followed by touch of lemon and ginger.
Finish: Long and mouth-coating, the delicate smoke and oak lingering.
