Master distiller Andy Watts distilled malted barley in copper potstills and matured the spirit over a period of ten years, initially in older American oak and then introducing the whisky to younger second-fill American oak casks. The result is a complex whisky with sweet oak spice and the signature peat of a Three Ships Whisky single malt.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Aromas of white pepper, digestive biscuits and gentle caramel unravel on the nose.
Palate: Rich vanilla and toffee notes coat the palate with tropical fruit, spice and a lingering smokiness in the background, a long finish of sweet oak, spicy nuttiness and warm peat.
