The ‘D.E.W.’ in Tullamore D.E.W. comes from the initials of a General Manager at the Tullamore distillery in the later 19th Century, named Daniel E. Williams. Tullamore Dew is extremely light and offers an easy yet complex flavour profile. Originally produced at Midleton Distillery, they have since moved away and become their own independent brand and distillery. We are looking forward to the next chapter of Tullamore Dew and the possible new whiskey offerings they will bring to the table.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Fruitcake, freshly roasted almonds, vanilla, caramel, grain notes offset by a touch of lemon.
Palate: Rich nutty flavour and an undertone of dark fruit just evident beneath elegantly balanced wood notes, leather, lemon curd and caramel flavors.
Finish: Light and elegant.
