Nose: Intensely sweet orchard apples, Cape gooseberries and over ripe bananas. Now coat this rag-tag sharp-attack fruit salad with lemon meringue and you start to understand the heat ‘n spice behind this dessert dram. A touch of water adds jasmine.
Palate: Pineapple, fire and lemon brimstone sweetly oil the tip of the tongue, spreading pepper ‘n chilli along the mid-palate. Tart gooseberry balanced by vanilla custard linger and linger onto a deliciously moreish finish. Add a few drops of aqua. More please…lots more!
