Johnnie Walker Gold label is known to be the “liqueur” of the whisky world. The replacement premium blend for Johnnie Walker’s popular Gold Label 18. It’s structured around single malt whisky from the Clynelish Distillery which is situated in the northern highlands of Scotland.

Tasting notes:
Surprisingly the grain and esters dominate the nose, but then some light herbal notes coated in caramel gently arrive. Oily and rich-bodied on the palate, the herbal notes, now spicy and peppery burst open with grapefruit drying on the finish. Water does add a hint of smoke but boosts the bitter.
