This is the fourteenth edition of Kilkerran”s Heavily Peated series, released twice a year in limited quantities.
Matured in a consistent recipe of 90% ex-bourbon casks and 10% ex-sherry casks.
Big peat smoke predominates, balanced by sweet caramel malt, aromatic fruit and a salty coastal note.

Tasting notes:
Nose: The nose offers honeycomb and wholemeal toast alongside chargrilled seafood and smoky bacon, layered with intense peat smoke, lemon zest, and vanilla.
Palate: A punchy mix of intense peat smoke, caramelised malt, citrus zest and maritime brine, accompanied by fresh orchard fruits like plums and apricots, alongside warming chili and black pepper spice.
Long, warm, and coastal. A balanced finish of peat smoke, lemon zest and icing sugar closes on a sweet, buttery note.
