Crafted in small batches of just 2-4 casks, our rye whisky was distilled from a mash of predominantly malted rye, celebrating the harmony of South African provenance and whisky tradition. Matured in a combination of ex Rupert & Rothchild red wine barrels, ex Bourbon and Virgin American Oak, this limited ongoing release is bottled at 48.6% to preserve depth and character.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Characterized by a light but sweet profile, featuring sugary pear.
Palate: A dynamic and unique experience with a “hot chocolate vibe”. It includes notes of rye spice, warm nuttiness, and a slightly sweet, earthy undertone with hints of pepper, citrus, or wood.
Long and evolving finish, it begins with prominent rye spice before being washed over by a lingering sweetness.
