The seventh small-batch release from Wolfburn, Batch 458 has been crafted from a 50/50 combination of whisky matured for seven years in first-fill Pedro Ximenez sherry butts, married with lightly-peated spirit matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. These casks produced just
5,100 bottles in total and the result is a rich, sweet single malt with a truly exceptional depth of flavour.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Thick treacle and coffee notes lead the way, accompanied by subtle tones of cherry and dried spice. The tannins are subtle, allowing the palate to develop beautifully.
Palate: Hazelnut, almonds and cloves are all present, delicately overlaid with soft peat smoke.
